The best way to reach the parks is by shared charter flight safaris arranged two times a week from Arusha Airport to Katavi National Park and Mahale Mountains National Park. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Upon arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet your professional safari Guide. The Guide will transfer you to the reputable Hotel in Arusha for dinner and relaxation. Enjoy the atmosphere of one night at the northern circuit and get ready for the next day’s western Tanzania adventure. Be free to ask your Out Go Tanzania guide any questions of your interest.

Day 2: Arusha Airport to Katavi National Park

Get ready for the morning breakfast followed by a drive to Arusha Airport for your shared charter flight to Katavi National Park. Upon arriving at Katavi the Guide will pick you to the Camp for the hot lunch. Have a short rest then proceed with the game drive, during the game drive you might see animals such as Hippos, Crocodiles, Roan Antelopes, Elephants, big heard of Buffaloes, Giraffes, Impalas, and Reedbucks.

Day 3: Katavi National Park

Early in the morning after the breakfast explore the day game drive in the unspoiled wildlife paradise in “The Katavi National Park” for more adventure.

Day 4: Katavi National Park

Early in the morning after breakfast, it is another day of game drive in Katavi. The possibility of walking safari or night game drive at extra cost.

Day 5: Katavi to Mahale National Park

Enjoy your last breakfast in Katavi, followed by a drive to the Airstrip for your shared charter flight to Mahale Mountains National park.

Upon reach at Mahale National Park celebrate your lunch boxes in a boat head to camp for rest, then in the late afternoon you might start a chimpanzee tracking tour and likely to see different species of primates such as Yellow Baboons, Velvet Monkeys, Red Colobus Monkeys, and other species found in the park.

Day 6 to 8: Mahale National Park

Explore three full days at Mahale National Park with a lot of activities. Experience activities such as wild chimpanzee tracking, relaxation at Lake Tanganyika, cultural village tours, traditional fishing, and boat cruise.

Day 9: Mahale Airstrip to Kilimanjaro Airport

After morning breakfast you will take a boat to the Airstrip for your shared charter flight from Mahale Airstrip to Kilimanjaro International Airport ready for your home departure.
