Depends on where you stay in Arusha but our safari Guide will meet you after breakfast ready for this
fantastic day.
The volcanic soil and the high altitude of this part of Tanzania are the key for the growth of coffee. The
coffee its been grown here for centuries as one of important cash crop in our GDP. Can be visited while
in Arusha Town or around Karatu from our famous coffee grower Lodge there ( Gibb’s Farm, Kitela Lodge
or Ngorongoro Farm House).

  • How the coffee is grown and harvested
  • How the coffee is processed from drying, grounding, up to wonderful flavour.

    • Enjoy your picnic lunch, or organic lunch from one of these lodges in Karatu and drive back to Arusha after.
